Take our survey! We have been asked by Husqvarna Viking to find out who our customers would like to take a workshop or lecture with. This is your chance to give your input!

The 10 question survey has some names both local, from across the country and from south of the border. But we know there are many experts we are not aware of, so we would love your input there, too!

A New Direction

Is it a new direction or a new emphasis? Either way, the end result is a better shopping experience for you every time you come to the store. Recently, all the staff was in the store and we did a major move and reorganize of the store layout. Our end goal was 2 fold.

First, we wanted to make more room for our LongArm Rental Program. The LongArm Rental is becoming more and more popular as quilters are anxious to DIY the complete quilt. Moving the frame gives us room to add a 2 foot extension and make it possible for you to DIY even king size quilts!

Secondly, we opened up space for a small comfort area for your spouse and/or your children. Now we have a comfortable chair, a 1-cup coffee maker and (soon) magazines for the men folk to relax while you browse and a little table, toys and colouring for your littles. We want to make your visit to us as pleasant as possible and hopefully this helps!

Both these things and other small changes are indicative of the new emphasis around here. Yes, we are about sewing and quilting, but we're also about the "etceteras"... We want to go about and beyond to make your sewing successful and your visits with us pleasant. So stop by soon, grab a coffee and let us know how we're doing!

Fantabulous New Husqvarna Viking Website

If fantabulous was a word, it would apply to the new website from Husqvarna Viking US. It is interactive, with a lovely blog, user gallery, machine matcher, accessory how to tutorials and much much more. It's easy to navigate and we're sure if you visit, you will end up spending some time...

The only thing we don't like is that for some reason, when we click find a store near you, the site doesn't find us, even though we are sitting inside our own store... Strange but true, and we're confident that utility will improve.

The Canadian version will be going live sooner than later. Until that happens, please take some time and visit the new US site
