New and Exciting at the Store

Here we are again! It's a new week with lots of opportunity for fun. Here at the store the updates continue in true Nick fashion.... Once he decides something is going to happen, it does. The store has had a complete makeover to make room for the new classroom space.


To pretty her up, we now have a saltwater aquarium, and soon a full wall of fabric! The aquarium was set up by Scott from Scott's Aquarium Service. Nick loves fish and aquariums (we have 3 at home), so it was only a matter of time before we would see one at the store. I'm sure the colours will soon be soothing and inspiring. Scott will be visiting periodically to add coral and fish and provide maintenance. We welcome him to the store!

The hi-light of our day was picking out the new fabrics. From Amy Butler, we selected fabrics to compliment what we already have in olives, pinks, teals and blue. Then we went hog-wild for her new Love line. Check out her gorgeous samples at www.AmyButlerDesign.com. In addition to the prints in quilting cotton, we also ordered some cotton-linen in neutral tones. Next are the dye-lot matched knits from Siltex. Can I just say, "WOOHOO!"
